Flat Roof Repairs
It can be common to have leakages with flat roofs as in a domestic setting as a lot of extensions e.g. garages have flat roofing. Usually, flat roofs can last for about 15 years before needing to be checked, however, if there is any serious leakage or damage, you may need to get it replaced. If you have smaller issues such as small tears in the felt or tiny cracks, these can be repaired and fixed.
Roof Light Repairs
Whilst professionally installed roof lights are built to last, with age they may need some maintenance. These can be replaced or preserved based on the requirement and damage. It could mean the window could needs replacing or repairs.
Slate Roof Repairs
Slipped, broken or missing slates need re-securing or replacing. Damaged slates are can be due to the roof settling, frost or wind damage. As well as debris falling onto them such as tree branches. Usually, the damage can be limited to an isolated slate, or to a relatively small area of the roof. Which means the slate roof doesn’t need to be replaced just the specific area.
Lead Roof Repairs
If you have any leakage or damage on a lead roof this could be due to many years of weathering, causing the lead to split and need replacing. Lead is an expensive metal and requires a skilled tradesman to install it properly – the same level of care should be taken with repairs too.
